Find what a pint costs across London — on the map, by fare zone, cheapest first.
Made by a developer moving to London, who'd heard about the infamous pint prices and wanted to find his favourite beer without paying over the odds for it.
Other tools exist on the internet, but none had good enough data or good enough analysis. This one was most heavily inspired by pošto piće — a Serbian drinks-finding tool I stumbled upon about a week before starting this.
How the data is gathered
The website is, for the most part, manually contributed — as well as painstakingly noted down from chain apps, one pub at a time. It currently covers 4,323 pubs and bars across all 33 London boroughs, with 3,043 pint prices listed. Prices marked ~ are approximate; the rest are real prices for that pub. A pint in zone 1 costs more than one in zone 6, so prices are grouped by fare zone rather than lumped together.
